Title: What is the plug/switch/sensor attached to air box?

What's the plug thing on the side of the air box on an 8v 2.0? Searched but not finding much, anyone got a part number?
Not the MAF but the one actually connect to the right side of the airbox?

Can't at the second ill try get one for tomorrow, it's the AGG Engine code 2.0 8v gti.
Problem I've got is mine is taped up from previous owner and have no clue what it is or what it does! Connect right to the side of the air box on the top half of the box

intake air sensor. (IAT), allows the ECU to compensate for the air temp in calculating fuel injection quantity, its has a small effect on the mixture.

Got the part No for you matey.Its 357 906 730A.Like you said tho cant find it on ecp or anywhere for that matter.If I was you id see if the vw breakers in Coventry have one.There called VW Sanburn,there near the richo arena and usally have pretty much everything.

Cheers Lee, nice searching! I've got a local VW spares up here, and also got VW heritage not far from me if VW do not sell it anymore. Thanks for the part number though! Really helpful :)

No probs.Went out and got it off my car this morning.The writing was so tiny but just managed to read it without a magnifying glass lol.That part no was for the connector that connects to the sensor itself not he sensor which is a different part no.Ecp do sell these I think and possibly gsf too.
