150 diesel do you have to torque down the oil filter or not have to

It says on the housing cap that you should. I never have, always just done it up tight. Bear in mind there is a big old O ring seal, so no need to proper grolley it up, that is what the seal is there for  :smiley:

I've found hand tight is fine, anything more makes it a pain to remove the next time.
