Bin the whole front end and black bonnet put the standard lights,bumper and grill etc back on,wheels are not my cup of tea basically de-Chav it hope you don't take offense

Hate that bumper looks well out of place. looks like a mk3 bumper thats been put on a ferrari. and why is your bonnet flat black?

Bought it like that, no offence each to your own taste, i do like it because its different having an mk5 front end with mk4 headlights, been thinking about changing it back to standard.....hmmm :smiley:

colour does match, paint codes are same its just the lighting :) and yes is a tidy car not bad for first car suprised i got insurance haha, mind you sure that will change with girls becoming the same as lads this year :( and just after some comments as i have some plans instore but after ideas...

The body work looks good just the whole front end looks Chav and the wheels are nasty but as you said each to there own..

Me personally, I think it's bloody awful. And would look muchos better standard, maybe keep the headlamps tho...

its okay hun, no offence taken...thats gonna be my plan just money atm was a bargin for a first car couldnt say no and for the price i paid wasnt gonna not buy it as extremely reliable car. got lots of plans just gotta get saving :-)

Plonk a post up in VW Related as there is bound to be someone out there in GolfGTi land that could help out.

Its so easy to remove the bumper.....6 maybe 7 bolts and the grill just clips in......

I'm pleased you told me it's supposed to be a Mk5 front end...because I wouldn't have known!

im 18 and i just finished my first car being a mk3 golf and i looked at that bumper! youngsters like the ides of the mk5 style front i supose .... but i changed my mind and just smoothed off the original and got some smoked indicators/fogs (my cars black)
if your keeping the front colour code the arches or lose them and i dont like the bonnet :')

Take it all back to standard, it currently doesn't look that nice but I bet with the original bumpers and bonnet on will look ok :)
