Title: thinking of tinting my rear lights.. what do you think?
Post by: whileoceanasleeps on 05 January 2013, 21:58: im thinking of tinting the original smoked rear lights but not sure what to go for. it's a dragon green so was thinking tint either all red or all grey/black. defo no clear or crystal! :sick:

anyone got any photos of their tint jobs for some inspiration?

no the top bit slightly more black, look at f17 bad, built thread, he's shown the before and after pics

Post by: Callum_K on 06 January 2013, 15:05: I bought mine from a guy on Edition 38, they are CL lights, smoothed, tinted and polished. I use orange LED bulbs which are fine.

I like them. Home tinting is certainly a no no imho, so easy to under or over spray.

Post by: GOLF-MK3-GTI on 06 January 2013, 21:39: I was so close to gettin rid of these clear/red rear lights, and replace them with the smoked/red ones, which I think would set off the mk3 really nice, but then decided against it, coz I can't be asked putting more money towards it :tongue:

those look awesome! that's the look I want man. did you just tint the indicator strip? how did you match the dark so well?
