Title: Need new subframe bushes?, what's the best out there?
Post by: GOLF-MK3-GTI on 05 January 2013, 18:11
Right, I've been advised to change the rear subframe bushes as the old ones have deteriorated, my mechanic owns a VR6, and he advised me to buy power flex ones from awesome GTI as he's just replaced his.

I want to know is, which ones do my car take?, or are they all the same throughout the range, I.E GTI, VR6??

Cheers

Not sure which ones your car will need but I second using Awesome GTI and they will tell you what sizes you need if you give them a call. Very good quality parts from them.

All the same fitment across the range.  Personally i prefer genuine VW ones to polys  although they are more resilient to installation.

Best to use cast PU, injection moulded PU suffers from setting and load deformation.
Ask before you buy, but price tends to be the give away
