Title: Lower ball joints Q

Hallo all

Got a Q about me Lower Ball joints on my MKIV there both less then 6-8 mounts old, as i was looking for the coarse of a knocking i have when turning slowly had it jacked up and noticed both my ball joints looked like this.

is this normal or are they fubar'd. To me they don't look right, but i am no mechanic lol

Look fine to me :smiley:

Give them a quick tighten just in case but i doubt they will be loose.

May need to check your front pads though, noticed on your pic some uneven ware :wink:

Give the wheel a wiggle and see if they got any play in them.

thanks, just thought with the gap didn't look right

Yer noticed that with the disks there getting changed soon ish anyways
