Hi Guys,
I Previously had a Pioneer DEH-P77MP that I loved, but over the years it has become very temperamental reading MP3 discs. I had a Pioneer DEH-3300UB in my campervan laying around that has USB support so ideal.
I have a Phoenix Gold 4 Channel Amp that powers 2 Type R front components and the 2 Rear outputs running a Subwoofer.
The new Pioneer DEH-3300UB only has 2 Pre Outs however compared to the 4 I had running to the Amp before:

It has been years since I dabbled with ICE and I was wondering can I run the 2 front components and the Sub still with this headunit?
Cheers :nerd:

Yes, it just means that you have no level control from the head unit - ie the settings would have to be made on the amp instead.

That's great thanks mate

Tried hooking this up today and no luck :(
Seems to be giving the sub a signal (which has the 2 rear outputs from the amp bridged) but not giving the front speakers anything.
No idea if I am setting the amp up wrong or a head unit issue? I tried switching the pre out on the amp to rear etc, changing settings, but nothing seems to make the amp give the front speakers a signal.

The Pioneer site says the RCA Pre out is for Rear and Subwoofer. I thought the signal being sent out would be the same though as a Front RCA would?

All sorted now thanks. There was a wierd setting I had to get to by holding down the Source button, I could then tell the head unit to output Full Range via the RCA.
Seems to be working now, although now I cant seem to get the AMP to adjust the Sub (Rear outputs crossed over). But at least fronts are working and can hear music :)
