last couple of days ive had overheating problems, which when going over 60 mph it rises over 90 degrees. as soon as it hits 100 degrees ive pulled over with the car still running as i dont want to risk warping the head, and it goes back down to 90 degrees now im pretty sure its the water pump.
however today i got it to 90 deegree and water was coming out of the top water pipe going back into the header tank is this the fuel pump working or is it the scientific ways of life taking its work and pushing the water through the system?
i havnt not an working for a while though, would this cause this problem?

sounds like water pump to me

its the water pump working that circulates the water, the flow from the return pipe should increase as the revs are raised, They often work fine on idle but when using higher revs the impellor can spin on the shaft causing the engine to over heat, from reading threads on here it seems 60mph is where the problem seems to show, yours sounds water pump related,
