Title: ABS light issue..

Firstly HAPPY NEW YEAR to all..
Secondly today i was driving for about 60 miles and my ABS light came on and then went off after about 20 seconds then about 10 mins later it came on again and wont go off? what could the issue be?

does it go away when you turn the car off then on again later? itll possibly faulty sensor. on mine the tyre ate through the wire :-/

Thanks for the reply dan.. it basically came on after having todo an emergency brake and then it would come on when i put the ignition on and then stays on without going off when i start the engine BUT i have just come back from a long drive and it seems to have gone off after some braking..

Anyone around east midlands do VAGCOM? PM me please of your whereabouts and how much..

odd may have just been a bit of grit in your ring. it happens sometimes and goes between the sensor and speed sensor ring

Oh yeah it must have been that big lorry flashing fancy orange thing that drove past me throwing grit everywhere for free..  :laugh:
