Title: Bbs rs 16 will they fit onto mk1 golf?

The sizes wheels below, does anyone know if with adapters for 5 x 100 to fit 4 x 100 which are 15mm thick will I have issues?
Can anyone advise?
Make and Model: BBS RS
Size and width: 16"x7.5J Fronts and 16"x8J Rears
Offset: ET34 Fronts and ET30 Rears
Current PCD: 5x100 (VW)

Welcome to the forum.

What have they come off? Personally I think anything bigger than a 15 on a mk1 is wrong and not the best for a trouble free ride.  I'm on 15s and even I get rubbing if too low.  Personally I think you'll struggle without mods unless you intend to keep the ride height up.

As Shaun said by the time you factor in the adaptors the offset will be wrong and clearance very tight.

Shows all sizes on a mk1 including fitment examples of 15" RS's which looks bang on.

Thanks guys, I'm just so set on 16s as I have a vision in my head but I cnt afford to get it wrong.
