Title: MK3 GOLF 8V GTI BACKBOX PROBLEM

had a aftermarket exhaust fitted on the golf, suddenly if has got a new problem as it keeps falling off as in slipping out of the rubber bracket, anything i can do for this or should i just get a standard quiet one put back on, i prefer mine as its got a deep tone to it....

Cant you bend the bracket or replace the rubber hanger?

Or even stainless steel zip ties for a longer temporary fix ?

Try birchills automotive they sell backboxes and tailpipes and also the little clips that you weld to the brackets to stop the rubbers sliding off
