Sh!t.

Seriously though i like them on your car, but not my thing generally. Prefer more solid wheels myself. Where is your house cis i could do with a driveway like that to play around with my motor.

Thanks for all the comments guys.. hey i know it wont appeal to everyone but its taken some hard work to even get it to this stage and it still needs alot of work.

Arches where a b!tch..  they do rub but only on mad bumps.. just this week i hard a circlip go on one of the rear suspension struts so it wasnt as strong as it usually was. Hit a huge bump and its knackered a tyre.. Doh.

Knobby..

Ps.. whos going sunday?

if i was to drop it anymore id have to cut away so much more arch.. Thinking of some stiffer springs to help with the rubbing.. Any ideas??

I agree it could go down a few more CM's but its just gonna be a b!tch to do.. Trouble is.. Wheels sit outside the metal acrh.. and the tyre and rim used to rub on the new G60 plastic arches.. So had to cut these about too.

Sunday is BugJam at santa pod... http://www.bugjam.co.uk/

i should hopefully be there...

if you can afford it, coilovers. more versatile!!

I hate to say i told you so, thought they would rub. None the less they look very nice and i think you did a brill job especially doing the arches yourself! Well done that man!  Im a great beliver in splashing the cash so id say go for coilovers! Then you can choose your hight and dampness.

OK then.. Coilovers it is... Need some that are height adjustable and stiffness/dampness adjustable... Recommend any?

Dont really care about ride, as long as it handles well and doesnt rub i'll be happy.

Cheers

Ive got KONI's which i would recomend anyday. There the more expensive of the bunch though. If your on a bit more of a tight budget you might be better going for a set of FK's

Ive just brought some Apex coilovers which are full adjustability of both damping and ride height. So this should do what i want... they retail for £499 + VAT i phoned around a few places, 1st call - £586 + 11.95 Del, 2nd Call 527.70 + 10 Del. 3rd call £535 + 10 Del.. so pretty much the same price everywhere.. i just got a brand new set on ebay for £341 + 10 Del. 186 cheaper than i could buy them for elsewhere....

Dilema is now.. do i sell them on or do i fit them to the car???

Was gonna cut some more arch off the rear of the car to allow me to lower it slighty more. Then fit the coilovers lower it slightly more and make it stiff as F*ck so i didnt get much travel so it didnt rub...

Watcha Recon???
