Was tinkiering today and removed my air box to take alook at the airbox intake pipe.
It looks like a really fat pipe but actually its really thin entrance and exit to to pipe, stupid really, so removed that and fitted a chrome L shaped pipe, it is the same width as the original whole which I think is big enuff,
The original pipe that drew air in stuck in the box quite far toward the wall so air flow would be restricted. The new pipe fits snug and sits in a couple of mm so more air flow possibly?
It still goes into the wing would it be best to have the pipe going to behind the grill or is it just as afective were it is!

It's better to have an air feed from either the fog lamp or the bottom grill.

I've seen a mk3 somewhere which has a proper intake grill where the fog lights would be , anyone know where to buy it ? I've seen venoms and the guy on here doing a group buy for the lower grills . But wanted it for the fog light blanks ?

Does that not suck in a lot of water when you drive in the rain
-
Nought wrong with a bit of water injection  I had a lower bumper scoop/intake and heavy rain/spray never affected it.

For the cold air feed?
Just the casing of an old fog light and a (60mm I think) flexible aluminium pipe and some hot glue.
-
cool thanks, going to smooth inside of airbox and put a wider air feed in.
