Hi there,
I have a 1.6GT with the AFT 101hp engine and its not running too good!
The engine starts perfectly and idles fine from cold and hot. However when its cold it makes very little power and and is jerky as hell.
When its warm it seem to be better but not great!!
I've already changed the arm,cap leads and plugs so i reckon the temp sensor is next.
Can anybody tell me the part number and which one is it!!
Many thanks in advance!!
Cheers
Steve

Sounds like temp sensor, not sure which one for your engine though, should be able to match the connector to some of them on ebay.
Go on euro car parts put your reg in .

Thanks a lot for the info but which one do i need!!
here's the choice of two!!
http://www.gsfcarparts.com/parts/cooling-heating/cooling-system/coolant-temperature-sensor
or
http://www.gsfcarparts.com/parts/fuel-emissions/mixture-formation/coolant-temperature-sender-unit
this one!!

Whats your reg as them links need reg
-
The reg doesn't work as the car is italian registered.
Both sensors are applicable to the model (AFT engine)
I need to know which one is responsible for the mixture selection on the engine management.
Which one makes the car run like a bag of s&%t !!
Cheers

You need to locate your own sensor which will probably be situated in a water flange and buy the one that has that fitment as they all look completely different to one another so shouldn't be to hard, sorry I cant help more as I don't know that particular engine to well
