Title: Urgent Help, - Mk1 Golf cab hood

Having problems opening and closing the Power hood on my Mk1 Golf Convertible.
IÂ’ve sourced the problem, being that itÂ’s low in fluid in the reservoir that sits in the boot area. ItÂ’s under the minimum mark.

IÂ’ve been told to use PAS fluid or auto transmission fluid, which I can get hold of, but how do I get it into the reservoir? Can not find opening to pour it into!!!!

its hydraulic oil ya need for the hood..u simply unscrew the hexagonal screw on the top of the reservior and pour the liquid into there...using a syringe may make it easier :smiley:
