hi all, new to forums

might be of to buy a 150t mk 4 gti
it has 140k miles tho as slight off put, how reliable are these engines? should it be ok?

mileage is nothing on these engines if looked after right  :wink:

Ive seen this car around as im from north devon its a tidy car from the outside not sure about inside or mechanically tho

as per the above - its had a bit of money spent on it already which will save you some. As long as it comes with full service history and has been well kept... these thing go on and on...

The blocks are fine (generally - if well serviced, pick up replaced, not running 300ftlb+ on stock rods) its the stuff bolted to them that normally goes wrong.

Turbos, flywheels, sensors, breather system, ect..
