Title: Replaced front right headlight bulb and still not working?
Post by: endy on 27 December 2012, 12:57
Hi guys, as the title states my front right dipped light has gone out. I replaced it with a new bulb but its still not working any ideas? had a quick look at the fuses and they seem to be fine.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas before i pop down to the local garage.

Thanks

Hope you all had a good xmas

Does the new one definitely work?
Put your working left one into the right one and see whether that works or not. That will rule out the bulbs.
Then like its been mentioned possibly the fuse! Which might mean your original bulb never blew!!

Played around with it today again and found out that it's todo with the light bulb holder (the black thing you put the bulb into). Going to ring my nearest VW dealer and see if they stock any. Not sure what the part number is.

Hopefully can get this sorted soon, not fun driving around at night with unexpected lakes on the road

Thanks for the advise
