I got 2 6x9's speakers for free but don't want to put holes in my parcel shelf does anyone have ideas where else I could possibly put them

In the bin.  Even though you got them for free 6x9s are not the best way to get better sound in the car.  What car is it for?

Lol thought about chucking them on eBay for about a tenner would of been for my car 3door mk4 golf I am after 2 rear speakers tho what size would I need ?

Are they not 5 1/2" in the mk4? Get a decent set-up at the front and sell the 6x9s on the bay of e.

To be honest not sure of the sizes of my speakers can you recommend a good set but not being a Scrooge but don't wanna spend a fortune on them just a set with a good sound

With a budget small enough to not bother buying speakers with.. id recommend finding a 2nd hand amp and amping up your std speakers. I know bora std speakers amp up well so presume golfs are the same
