Hello, in the midst of a search  for a used mk6, owned a mk4, currently in an Audi A3 2.0Tfsi Quattro which I'm trying to prise my Wife out of! Some great info on here.

Pretty standard to be honest, budget of around £17k. Would like the RCD510 but not a deal breaker! Looked at a couple of '60 platers, hope to a deal at the end of this month when dealers are keen to move stock before the end of the year/quarter! Even had a VW dealer offer to drive the car 40 odd miles to my home for viewing/test driving!

Looking at mk6's myself, just unsure whether to go for the petrol or the oil burner.

Got a similar budget myself, and got the same thoughts as you, going to look at a couple over the weekend hoping that the end of the month should help with a bargain.  :smug:

Hello Graham, going to look at a '10 plate in Steel grey tomorrow at a Porsche dealer of all places, had my eye on it for a few weeks, watching it drop in price! Same thoughts as you with regard to end of the month deals! As regards petrol/diesel, my mileage doesn't warrant a diesel, & having the Gti mk5 2.0 turbo engine in my A3 I know the newer engine in the mk6 will be just as solid! Good luck with your search.

10 plater, 25,000 miles, full VW history, steel metallic, £15k. Picking up next week, standard spec, but well pleased! Pics to follow

Just done the deed!

Signed up yesterday!! :grin:

Travelled 150 or so miles. Mental!

Just got to sort the cash into relevant accounts to pay the dealer. Then hopefully arrange collection sometime next week. Can't wait.

62 plate white GTI with the RCD 510 Dyn audio, whatever that is?

I'll post some pics once I collect, after some serious driving first tho!  :grin:
