Title: how to remove rubber roof strips from mk3 golf?

I need to remove these to check where my lleak is coming from.anybody took them off before?

you mean the ones that start from the back of the car and go all the way to the bottom of the windscreen?
it just pulls off, you might break some clips but there dirt cheap to replace

Il give it a go,so what do the arrows on them mean is that where u fit roof rack?not that i want too lol

They have a metal strip inside so try and be careful not to bend it so much. Attack it with patience and this:

you might break some clips but there dirt cheap to replace

i found driving around longleats safari park with the monkeys got them off pretty quickly!

if your looking for leaks i doubt its round there unless a windscreen had been fitted at some point and badly sealed. mine turned out to be blocked sun roof drain holes.
