Went to fit my new manifold yesterday :( Nightmare, had my stainless manifold fitted only to find out that it was wrong shape meaning ur was hitting of bulkhead and rubbing against steering rack :( not happy. Replacement coming tomorrow (Thursday). Hope it's better :) keep you updated

Thatz the thing with these 8v's the engine sits tooooo far back!
-
More like its an imported manifold meant for the lhd
-
And why fit a SS exhaust manifold to a puny 8v anyway?
-
Makes it sound better

Bingo.

Another incorrect size of manifold from same firm was delivered today. Disappointed, fitted floor, bulkhead and wasn't near steering rack this time BUT wouldn't allow inlet to come down far enough for it to line up with holes :( gutted.

You get what you pay for.
Hence why if I was in the market for a manifold I'd buy either from a well known firm or used.
-
eg. Supersprint, but then you're looking at nearly £500 for not a lot of gain... If any!
-
Safe to say I would rather save the pounds now towards something better :)
-
Something better would be a 16v anyway!
-
Exactly my thoughts, fancying going down the 20vt road though...
