Non too happy with the changes and another reason to keep pics offline. Greedy barstewards thinking any pics can be used for future marketing and you can't consent to something that you don't know about...open catch all clause.

Spot on, plus if you cant take a decent photo without using instagram you shouldn't be taking photos
-
Instagram is sh!t anyway. Never been fussed with it, and definitely on't be using it now they're stealing peoples rights off them.
Well done Facebook for making your investment totally worthless.
-
What is there to sell anyhow....whos going to buy a crappy mobile phone taken image, or even be possible to scale it big enough to use properly.
Any picture posted online can be used anywhere provided its author is referenced i think.

Instagram has a lot of celebrity users, so those are the users whose photos they are going to be more interested in taking and selling.
They won't be interested in your photo of your dog/car/christmas tree, but they will be interested in an actor's photo from behind the scenes of their latest tv/movie shoot.

They've changed them back now?

We tried and we were caught but its your fault because you miss read the contract you idiots...

exactly. To save on models and cheap runs of adverts aimed at kids we'll have your pics and sell products bak to you despite the legal bits around parental consent as under 18s use the app as well. Listened my arse.

Also if a person under the age of 18 takes a naked picture of themselves, does that mean they are the owner of child porn?

So long as they're over 16 but under 18 then they won't get prosecuted, but they are not allowed to keep the pictures online. They must pass them onto khare@sexybeast.org(asm).
