Well took few mates nosing and poking around to realise was wrap or me telling them so good sign

It has light fabric feel to it so feels like real stuff for people dont know real brushed alluminium looks or feels like

iv done mine in black carbon fibreworks a treat, thinking of doing the black surrounding the ash tray and gear stick in black carbon fibre as well as the ash tray and then getting all me gray bits spray glossy silver...might even go satin silver on the interior but i want the finger dips on the drivers control module done in black

Prob spraying gives tacky looking finish bud. Unless matt black. Did on my gti and wernt happy so had that carbon wraped by one lads forum (going back 2 half years )

I defo need do something about gear knob now. Looks so odd. But dont want to loose 4mo look too. I have thought about wrapping it but dont know if would stay mint as constantly gonna be manhandled

may of misunderstood me, im taking the trim out, smoothing it all out and then getting it all sprayed properly. the plus side is that scuff marks would also be cleaned up with no issues

each to their own otherwise, i carbon wrapped my mates interior and after i finished the first bit he changed his mind...and yes i did do it properly and no i heated and the material and lined it all up perfectly to ensure tight folds

Yup preping is evrything. What color you gonna spray the trim bud. I was thinking sand some trim
Too as edges bit fooked on side strips. And the drivers side trim looks like mouse been at it  but thankfully wrap covered it up a bit

me thinking Satin silver but also considering carbon wrapping the centre console before i get the gear shift part of the console, it's gonna take time though as i dont wanna do it in the winter

i've tried that...not worth mentioning tbh mate, the only way you'd get it properly done is if you bought the actually carbon fibre material and resin which is a ball ache and you wont be with a gear knob for 72hours

im using these

recon would look good with a carbon fibre back ground to it
