Hi, not been on here for quite a while but could do with a bit of knowledge from the forum experts please.
My 150 tdi has started to have a small hesitation when coming off a light throttle, if I floor it or give it a bit it's ok but in traffic when I'm just easing it on for a few mph more it has a hesitation, nothing too bad but getting on my nerves abit. I've noticed it at around 2k rpm in 3rd or 4th.

Bit of sticky VNT perhaps?
Flooring it would be asking your turbo for more boost so the vanes on the turbo would open up easier compared to feathering the throttle at low revs when not requesting much boost.
Innotec turbo cleaner could be a temporary solution.

Clean out the EGR valve
The PD engines are infamous for this

Ok, anybody tried Revive Turbo cleaner. For £60 is it worth a go? Rather than taking too many things apart.

EGR is an hour of your time and some carb cleaner
Try doing that first........

Ok, I try the EGR next week while I'm off, will update then.

fixed mine by blanking off the EGR at both the actual EGR and the exhaust port at the top of the exhaust manifold/top of turbo.
Also admittedly cleaned EGR
