Can't decide whether to joey my lights or not? There standard GTI units :undecided:
-
My vote is keep them original.
-
I did mine and wish I didn't now. Prefer a cleaner look
-
it really is a Marmite mod, I vote NO!!
-
Depends on what u like mate. No right or wrong answer here.

i joey'd mine and i loved it, with my fly tint. Then when one of them got smashed and replaced with a brand new item, i loved it.
So i say either. I really dont care
-
My mate. Keeps telling me to leave them alone!
-
Joey'd, especially on a black golf
-
I always thought Joey'd was a slang term for Joe Deacon, I agree if that is the case as they look retarded.
-
Joey'd, just don't do what Jamie did to his

And what was wrong with what Jamie did?
Looked great IMO.
-
What did Jamie do? I did the joey'd/fly eyes on my old golf but went off it in the end

That is what i did... they are talking about me..
Fact is in that colour it hadn't been done before, at least not on this forum!
-
What Jamie did is up in the Info section on How To Joey lights!
-
what colour's your golf?
-
Black
-
Not a fan of them myself, especially on the dual chamber GTI headlights. the shape of the inner reflectors have too many angles and cut outs making them look fussy and very un-OEM. Tinted Vento lights look a lot cleaner when done.

I say do it! I really like the look, but maybe on a black golf standard will be better because it will have more contrast with the body colour. I'm a big fan of joeying. depends what look you want :)
