i have recently bought some leather recaros and the bloke said that the plugs for the air bags are different, so he has given me the plugs going from the car to the seats with a bit of wire left on them,

so my question is any one know if the wires are different colours and how would i go about wiring them up to the correct wires.

the plugs he has given me 1 has brown, blue and white
and the other is brown white and green

The airbag plugs are the same mate well the anni recaros and my 2002 gti sports seats were the same

No they aren't, it depends on the age of the car. I had to change the plugs when I put my recaros in. As for the colours I can't remember off the top of my head, I'll try & have a look later.

Cheers buddy, I've got a 2003 AUQ and I have got normal seats in at the moment

I put 2001 Recaro's in mine because they were from a 51 plate they were plug and play in my 2003 TDI, up to mid 2001 they used a different connector.

There has been a few topics on it, colours are brown, blue, black?
