I have seen a drop of around 8mpg on my Tdi due to the cold snap. Is this normal?

This cold weather always reminds me why I want a front mount

Do any of you actually feel the benefit of this cold weather?
I cant say I ever did tbh, But then again Wales is always frigging cold
-
Not really noticed any power improvement but I have not been spanking it due to the icy roads! I know its sad but I constantly drive with the mpg display showing these days!
-
Ive not noticed a massive change in the mpg in my golf mainly cause its usually crap ! But my astra van (excuse me for swearing) usually does 460/480 miles per tank which lasts all week but this past week ive only just touched 400

I did a 120 mile trip (motorway) and managed 29.8 MPG - thought that was good compared to what I normally get

-
Nice, to be fair i know she can do more, that mileage is purely town driving.
