This is German Auto Express and they're saying 310hp for the R. Now that's more like it!!!!

Great find mate, let's hope this means that there will be an R! The CC looks nice too.

I agree Ginge - I really like that CC too. I'm sure I've seen pictures of a Coupe somewhere too although it's not on here?

Really hope they do the R as it will definitely get my order. My dealer already has the deposit for a GTi but would much rather the R.

The new S3 is to get 300 PS or 296 BHP. Will they make the Golf R faster?

Either way the new cars look significantly faster than the out going models.

I would really like my next car to have 4WD as it is a PITA tyring to stop wheel spin in all this wet weather :evil: But I just can't justify the MPG that goes with 4WD for the miles that I do.

 :huh: New Golf R to have 10 hp less than the new S3 and yet be faster?

Do you think that should read 296 instead of 286?

The new GTD and top A3 diesel, seem to both have 184 bhp.
