Title: hats the procedure to reprogram the key after changing battery ect

Key battery was dead when i blught car. just got round to buying a battery.


is it key with the new batterys in the egnition. turn leccy on.
other key (with out new batterys, batterys are dead in that one) in the door. Manual lock. manul unlock. and the key in the egnition is recoded?

I never done anything whe changing the battery's in my keys :huh:

try just putting a new battery in and see what happens :smiley:

Try this....key in the ignition.....turn ignition ON....Press unlock button TWICE within 10 seconds.....ignition OFF....Take key out...Get out of car and try the buttons.

someone off heres tried what i said on there spare (on which the batterys wernt working) and has pmd me saying it worked for him. however it hasent worke for me.... 

can see a trip to the dealers coming on trying to get this sorted :(
