Where is the best/cheapest place to buy a milltek system for my mk4 1.8t?? Anyone??
-
I've had a look and AMD in Essex are doing a deal.. They supply and fit a non res catback milltek and do a rolling road remap for £576 is this a good deal?
-
Miltek are baba Chinese metal with some shoddy welds..
have you considered Jetex ?
-
What sort of price am I looking at for a jetex system?
-
around £300
Might be worth seeing if there are any reputable custom exhaust fabracators local or the ebay 3" turboback special that a few people have fitted on here, gets decent reviews and is stupidly cheap.
-
tbf Milltek isnt that bad, if you buy it from their website you get life times warranty too
-
that life time warranty only applies to cat-back systems and 2 years for sport-cat downpipes though.
looking at T&C, power increases over 33% from standard render the warranty void which most stage 1 maps on a 150 will (or should if a decent map) exceed.
have a full turboback system on since oct 2010 thats done less than 15k at stage 2 and the sports cat has already started to break up/rattle inside, not that I needed an excuse to fit a decat
-
Anyone got a link to this ebay one? Wanted a turbo back exhaust but 500 odd for a milltek one seems a bit ott..i only have an agu and im not after massive power.
-
hmmm fair point :undecided:
-

If its a discreet system.. Y are they giving away free autosol to polish the tips? Seems a bit pointless haha..... Has anyone got a link to this 3" ebay one??

-
my pocket hates me, are there any 3 inch to twin tail set ups that can be bought?
-
£220 delivered and that covers customs
-
but i just got my 4mo valance and smoothed bumper sorted
-
Are the american systems the same as the uk ones then.
-
no idea mate but a few petrol heads here are running the american system
-
i love the milltek sound after listening to loads on you tube but seem to have a poor image on here lol now i had a jetex on my audi a4 turbo and the build quality on that was 100% only issue was i ordered the res system and it was FAR to quiet so i chopped the mid box out then it sounded spot on! the Jetex systems are as low as £320!! which is good to say have lifetime warranty and are 2.5'' madrel too
-
im stuck between the two, i want that nice race note when starting up are mashing my accelerator to the floor and the twin GT tips but i want the straight through as well :undecided: could just buy a stainless steel down pipe i suppose :undecided:
-
has anyone had bad issues with jetex?
