so i love the 1.8 turbo engine but all i do is spin so i was thinking 4x4 route so could i get say a vw golf mk4 v5/v6 and put a 1.8 turbo engine in??

Get a 2.8 4motion then fit a 1.8t 20v with k04 turbo. Yes you can do it. May as well buy a s3 though

but i love the mk4 platform, dont get me wrong the s3 is nice but im a vw fan :)

would be awesome tho, would like to get my engine AWD in the long run, doubt id be allowed or have the cash!  :embarrassed: :laugh:

For starters its not perm 4x4 costs a lot as well mate have seen a few threads on ukmk4s seriously deep pockets required

Just get a v6 the standard 2.8 engine is poky enough  :grin:
