Has anyone had marangoni metro hp winter tyres ?
I've been offered 2 with 7mm of tread for £150

I've not, no.

But in my experience over the last 10 years of using winter tyres, ANY winter tyre will be better than a supper tyre.
I'm sure some are better than others...but the real jump is to the compound and tread pattern.
I'm sure they will be just fine.

They sound a bit expensive for used tyres to me. Don't forget to allow £10 each for fitting on top.

You really ought to be buying 4 tyres, so I'd be shopping round for a deal on a new set.

Mytyres are doing brand new winter tyres for your size from £82. So not that much off your second hand ones.
