Dont confuse the R32 lamp "HID" as the same as what you can buy off ebay for £30-£40 quid

Genuine R32 headlamps have Xenons setups, a bit different to the standard golf headlamp.

cheers buddy i thought so, but this was for my mate as he has an r32 and he was adamant they were after market HID kit :)

cheers for the clarification though :)
