Title: Perfect idle speed/acc cable
Post by: mk2man1 on 04 December 2012, 20:52
Hi got another post up about crap running i think i may have over looked something. It idles very low and this is what i think is the miss fire,if you stamp on tha acc pedal revs up lovely but returning to idle speed it drops right down and then comes up and down a bit trying to find a happy place. It ends up staying around 500rpm,went to adjust cable a little and its on max adjustment and is slack as hell.
Would a new cable and a taking the idle up higher solve this?
Whats the perfect idle speed engine is 2e

Idle speed should be around 800 revs.
