Title: Warning triangle missing?!
Post by: TwoSteaks on 04 December 2012, 18:48
I've just bought a new Mk6 GTI and there is an empty bracket on the left hand side of the boot where it looks like the warning triangle should go. I contacted the dealer where I bought it and they told me that UK cars don't get one and so we're just left with an unsightly empty bracket!

Can anyone confirm that this is correct or should I have one?!

you need to buy it

you can get it on its own or in a kit with 2x hi viz jackets and a first aid kit. its about £20

Download the VW catalogue from VW.co.UK and see if its listed in the current specifications I know it wasn't back in 2010 when I bought mine.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Safety-Kit-Warning-Triangle-First-Aid-Kit-Vest-/170854270780?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Safety_Security&hash=item27c7b5473c

first aid kit and bibs go in the right hand pocket and the triangle clips into the holder on the left
