The time has come to arrange the camping for bug jam, for those of you that havent been before this is a over head view of the site
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/mrwotto/bugjam2004b.jpg)
So as you can see some planning is required for us all to be able to camp together.
Gibby (happy now lol  ) & a mate - I'm happy now thanks wotto !
Vaughn (gti89)
Rich (richandhazel)
Slick (The Chip shop man )
Len405
Myself & my missus
Along with some of vaughns mates shall be arriving at around 10:30am ish
So we will get a campsite set up, but we however need to know who else we need to keep room for.
People that we known of who will be arriving later are
Gtijoe
Jimbo
If you are left off the list please let me know and I will add you to the list
I would also recomend getting a few mobile numbers off the people that are going early as the pod is known for its dodgy phone signal. PM me or one of the other early arrivers for numbers if required.
If you are arriving later on and wish to camp with us, let us know on this thread, and then ring / text one of us when you arrive and we will tell you where we are.
Not long to go now boys and girls. This is gonna be one hell of a weekend
And dont forget to look out for the special split screen that will be attending this year
-
good work wotto!!
-
Its a tuff job but someone has to do it lol
-
ha ha and as an after thought.....MY TICKETS TURNED UP THIS MORNING!!!!!!!

weathers looking good an all folks
-
moderate pollution!
-
thats all the smog and fumes from the rusty old beetles and campers
-
nah its all them mk3's....
-
Yup we will have 2 mk3's in the golfgti camping area this year
-
camp layout varies from year to year.... (er this is my 11th one), most of the time it depends whats growing in the fields and whats be harvested.............as these fields carry the overflow which last year was all at the rear (near gates) ive been before and camped in the fields right near the strip....
ill bump into who evers goin on the sat if not before, im takin me new ride for a spin... and may even do the 1/4 mile in it seen as mini moto's are feckin banned this year!!
-
Wotto you nugget, where's my name ??? Or am I lumped in with "Vaughn's mates"
Save me a space as there will be me in a camper (that's if it gets repaired in time  ) and a mate of mine in a tent. If my camper is not fixed in time then I'll be looking for a tent to kip in, but I'm trying to stay positive.
-
sorry gibby, i knew i had forgotten some one, but could not think who lol
Will add you now
-
Yes me and Wotto will hold the fort for the Mk3's!!!
Gibby if ya need it - my tent is big enuf for two!  - No snide comments please!
(It's actually supposed to be a 4 berth - but just right for 2)
-
Just thinking about last year - yes dangerous i know!
The Brighton crew I know got there on the Thursday night and were camped at the beginning of the general camping. (Not Club Camping)
Another group, got there for the gates opening 9.00am Friday and they were about 100yds away.
The motto here is the earlier we get in the nearer we will be to the food stalls/beer tent end.
-
where did they camp len? on the tursday night I mean! I am up for camping near by on the thursday if possible
-
Well I was told they got into the site Thursday night. But they may have camped on the road up coz they all had Campers anyway.
C'mon my recollections aint that good, when I get told things at about 3am Sat morning!
Oh just noticed yer spelling is as good as usual! campiMg!
-
Cheeky Len,
I thinks its best to meet up at about 10:30am then, i think the first person to the approach road, should pull in and text the rest to give them there location etc, then all meet up and go in together
So is the boiler suit making an appearance?
-
Well the suit will be with me - depends how drunk i get whether or not it makes an appearance!
Right bags I get there first!
