Title: Smell of fuel when blowers are on??
Post by: Xtrhardcore on 04 December 2012, 08:45
Little worries as I can smell fuel when the heater blowers are going, either on hot or cold.
Found a pipe that runs into a box ontop of the rocker cover with a split on it, guessing its a breather hose, would this be my problem is could it be more sinister?

Cheers

That breather should not give a fuel smell. An oil smell yes.

Why would it give the smell of oil when it's pretty much connected to the tb?

The rocker cover should only have oil in there.

Nooooooo it's not a breather coming from the rocker cover it goes into a black box ontop of the cover and the breathers branch of into the throttle body buddy
