I need a bit of advice, one of my dipped bulbs went the other day so bought two new h7 bulbs to replace them with. I understand it is tricky to change these bulbs but when i opened the rear of the light housing my bulbs were hardwired in and didn't have the connector block like most guides and manuals state. Anyway i disconnected the battery and took the old bulbs and cut them off. Wired the fresh ones in, batt back on, tried them out and.....nothing, then a hiss and smoke from drivers side light area, so thought sh!t!! Had a look and +ve connection at the bulb was charred, also the bulb on the back. Anyone shed some light on this? Thanks
