Title: Engine management light................?

I have a 1.8T on a V plate(10/1999) with a AGU egine.

Question is, i have noticed on a mates car that the EML and the TPC light, lights up when the ignition is on but goes off when started, but my car has neither of these lights showing.

There are no codes showing or doesn't run rough and has pretty good fuel consumption and pulls thru every gear as it should, so just wondering if the lights should be there or not needed on this model....  :huh:

Nope AGU are pretty dumb  :grin:
Best thing about them though I hate christmas tree dash lights on everywhere.

Best thing I had on my AGU was a boost guage, this was the only way apart from doing logs I knew it was not running as it should.
