Title: New mk3 GTi owner
Post by: Xtrhardcore on 02 December 2012, 10:36
Hi guys, moved on from the mk4 to the mk3, picked up a lovely example of the 2.0 8v yesterday and i'm impressed!
Have a couple of faults and wonder if anyone could point me in the right direct?

It has electrical windows front and back ( 5door;) ) the front driver side window will not open, it does not even make a noise when you click the button. All the other windows work fine, could this be the switch or a fuse/ motor??

Another thing is the rear window demister does not work, when you press the button the light does not appear and nothing happens? same question again, switch, fuse etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you

Check all the basics first. Like your fuses etc. Then check for power at motor/switch.

And welcome
