Title: Which Shocks?

Want a set of shocks for my mk1 cab, pref coilovers.  But want some with a decent ride.

I've seen Supersport coilovers advertised at a decent price, has anyone used them?

Can anyone suggest which shocks I should use, so I can slam it but keep some ride quality? ???

I was looking at coilovers, but couldn't find a set for less than ?600
so i ended up just putting all standard shox & springs on.
Now it rides beautifully, but handles like an ice cream van!

Let me know how much you get some coilovers for... else what the spring \ shock combination you go for is like.
