Whats required to swap bog standard gti dials to the anniversary clocks are they plug and play??
Induction kits ive touched this before and ive had a search. So far im right in thinking best power set up is modded air box with panel filter. I want some noise though. I see oilled filters no go aswell. And cai might suck water up (touchy subject) but i live somewhere where if it rains tgere huge pufdles everywhere so i still dont fancy making my 200 quid set up go filthy and get wet etc so i liked tge k&n typhoon who claim good bhp increase but they are oilled filters. Whats good value but decent ill happily pay £200 if it good but want summit that maybe got heat shields or summit? Any tips? Gti turbo i may add

Seriously mate there is about a 1000 threads on induction and all diff results !!!! Panel filter seems the best way to go but many people have good set ups with cones and a mixture of both all depends on set up!! As for clocks in pretty sure any clocks will need vag com... I run pipercross cone and heatshield and have had no problems and my maf is still working fine! Most people's problems is they over oil it i lightly do mine and clean it every 3 months

what he said... you can get a green cotton cone (theyre not oiled) and heat shield you can get in ebay its prebent sheet of metal with the cut out in .. think theyre sposed to for an a3 but they fit.. pretty sure awsome gti do the full kit for about £100 but it is a k&n tho = dirty maf and pooly car eventually so best is drill and smooth your air box pipercross panel and job done :nerd:

I know guys same as our club im on every newbie same air filter queations. I want noise and some dv noise as ill be getting a forge 007 valve. Pipercross still unsure as i know they dont come preoilled but if you dont oil enough dirt will pass through. I had an apexi on my nissan they top dog. I want an equivalant for tge golf. Blox seem to be dry but no idea how good a quality they are. I just really like the tyhoon look lol but killing mafs is no good.
How hard is it to change clocks? Im used to 90s cars where philips screws held everything in and easily popped off?
