This the first offer?
Try and hang on if you can but maybe the only offer you get
-
Tbh Mate, it all depends how desperate your are to get rid of the car.
Like you say you had it up for £1,000 and you've been offered £900. Thats not bad tbh.
But on the other looking at the car & mods and you giving away the spares with it, I would say it's worth £1,150 the least.
But hey, its your call... Do what you think is best.
Good Luck
-
I've reduced the car from £1150 to £1000 i have the SPAX Kit with a reciept for £350 which i said if i sell for £900 the suspension isn't included.
This is the 3rd offer, i've said no to the other two. I'm pretty desperate to sell tbh, not many folk will buy a Cat C write off either. The last VR went for £500 that was sold over here.
-
Hmm, If its a Cat C Write off, I would not think twice tbh. But before you agree at £900. Try making a counter offer of £950 -£975...
And if that fails, I would say shake on it at £900.
-
Yah i've said £900 without the spare suspension or £950 with
-
Great stuff, Well i hope everything works well for you in the end, Good luck
-
Id take it i was desperate to sell before Xmas, not as many people will be buying cars at this time of year and might end up stuck with it mate.
-
He is going to get back to me now..
-
Time of year and you traveling on Boxing Day, I would rip his arm off!
You won't regrett it when your gone
-
Just to agree with everyone else, I'd bite his hand off for £900 but would be tempted to keep the suspension.
-
He is coming to collect tomorrow for £950 with the suspension

At least it is gone, sometimes it is better to take the money.
-
I don't think you can moan too much at that fella, yeah you may have got a couple of hundred more if you's sold some of the bits off separately but taking you circumstances into account it'd wouldn't be worth the gamble of holding out and potentially being disappointed at the end of the month.
-
Yeah that is how i m looking at it. Gives me an extra month of finances towards my travel. I will see it though being such a small island lol
-
Good on ya bud, would of taken that too. Sure you wont regret it whenyour abroad! Hope you enjoy your travels and best of luck:smiley:
-

I second that, what you after next?
-
Haha well, it wont be for a while now! At least a year maybe even two depending on how things go. Its either going to be a mk1 caddy with a 1.8T already done as it will cheaper or a Clio Williams, the williams being my number one choice if i can find a giod example!!
-
Yes!!! Get a Williams Clio!!! Love them, will be hard finding a good one tho.
-
I always wanted one too. But you will hate a Renault after having a volkswagen, but you'll forget that on the bends
Drove plenty of 1.8 16v's and enjoyed them
