To be honest I have absolutely 0% knoledge and if I can do it believe me anybody can and yeah it's soldered in literally pull out the clip on the inside of you door and plug the new 1 in took me about 10 mins
-
Must just be me but who cares about a blue led seriously do u stand and watch it flash every 10 seconds!!!! Sorry if its just me but that's my opinion

Not really just think its pointless!! Opinions vary I guess lol
-
Everyone is entitled to an opinion basically this is the 1st golf I've owned and just wanted to make it to how I like it I'm not into customised cars won't be changing anything else apart from the wheels eventually and maybe a few little things to the inside

Everyone is entitled to an opinion
They are.
Only mine is correct.

Fitted by a butcher :undecided:

yep, fraid so. I can see a split in the surround and the led looks way too big. I would have one that changes colour if i did this.
-
Oh yeah until you pointed it out didn't see that split ill get a new surround and the light looks a bit big as it a 5mm rather then 3mm just because it was brighter but do appreciate the feed back as I'm still new to this so it's literally trial and error
-
 I think the smaller one will look better, more discreet and it will be bright enough.
-
True didn't think of it that was ill prob get another one eventually and ill ask for the 3mm
-
at the end of the day its your vehicle, your money and what makes you happy, im gonna be fitting 3mm red leds into the interior door handles and front door side storage units to give it a nice red glow at night and gonna look to fit some ultra bright LEDs into the arches so that when i kick it into reverse and got my shiny new wheels on i know how far away from the curb i am at night so i dont get curb kissed and no one else has done it, and if anyone dont like it then dont like it  not my problem
-
Very true it'll look great when done be good to see the pictures mate my issue at the mo is my rear wiper not working its driving me insane lol
-
 im telling you mate just get the thing taken out completely, it tidies up the bag end and looks smart with either an acrylic bung of DUB bung in there
-
Any pics
