If you want to keep the oem engine cover is your only real option

For me for open intakes it's Evoms, ITG or the Revo one

Closed intake wise I liked the ITG butas part of the VWR tie up the back pipe is not staggered down so not the optimum solution (what VWR not ITG) fingers crossed when exclusivity deal runs out ITG can release it

If I fit the intake and keep the engine cover etc do I need a ECU tweak?

I think the effect of these on stock cars is a placebo one

That's ok with me, just want it to look different, the other option is to take the stock one and get it painted black gloss?

Carbonspeed one is identical other than the panel filter to Carbonio so my be worth seeing if they come without the APR tax

http://www.carbonspeed.co.uk/product_cs100.asp

You can get ith out the panel filter which at least saves battling with the cover
