Post by: NERF 69 on 29 November 2012, 20:53
Wired my boost gauge in today ready for plumbing in tomorrow went to pop my bonnet and the latch broke and no amount of pulling on the cable will open it any ideas folks? Also does anyone know of any other way to get the bonnet open?

Take of the grill and get a flat head driver and press against the catch to open it. Get down there with a torch and have a look around!

There was a thread not long back covering this topic with a really good guide! Canont find it though...Have a search

You can get a driver in the gap where you push against the metal tab which operates the mechanism. Do a quick search for that topic, there is also a vid on youtube I think!
