Post by: hitman_bridger on 28 November 2012, 09:50

Is it possible you're driving over speed bumps rather quickly?

I do have speed humps near me but I don't go over them fast at all. What I mean by running lumpy is that it feels like its being starved of fuel. It's ok when in boost but lumpy when idleing and accelerating.  I haven't checked for boost leaks yet but will when I'm home. I do have a decat to fit still. ( was told it could be cat had failed).

Well, he said he has a new coil and it's still lumpy.

The thing is, the ignition coil is encapsulated, so they tend to be a block or 'lump'. It ought to be as much of a lump as the old one was.

No, as it's inlet. It'll just be a vacuum leak.
