Title: Mk3 Camber question
Post by: black90 on 18 July 2005, 15:54
Can anyone answer this question?
I read the front camber spec for the mk3 GTi should be:
sports suspension) -33' +/- 30'.
(standard suspension) -30' +/- 30'

Does the - sign mean wheel further in at the top or at the bottom?
I always thought top, but my tyres are wearing on the inner edge now.

i.e.(exaggerated)

A)  /--\

or

B)  \--/

A is correct , it means Negative camber which if you think about it makes sense .

As far as I'm aware all golfs have Negative camber except for the mk1 which has positive
