Hi all,
I want to buy a console for playing F1 2012 but i have no idea which console is best for this game?
Or if anyone has a console better suggestion?

Fan of the xbox. But i expect the game play to be the same.
Personal preference. I've always famed online and I've always preferred the xbox first this.
Dont forgot some titles are console specific like forza or Gran Turismo

I'd go for the ps3 as there's more selection of wheels available to further enhance your gaming experience

Seeing as i work at GAME thought id help you out :)
If you just want to play F1 an get a steering wheel id personally go for the PS3. And get the GT driving force steering wheel (best on the market) it has full support gears, has a clutch, and throw back. What that means is if you hit another car, wall etc the steering wheel will turn and act like a real crash.
Also your PS3 would also double up as a 3D Blu-ray player annnnnnd you can at a later time get yourself gran turismo 5 which also has some nice tracks/F1 stuff on there.
We have also just added a massive sale on PS3's for xmas. Deals are on till dec 24th.
Btw in not a fan boy, i personally own an xbox. But for your needs PS3 has much better selection of wheels.

I have an Xbox and a ps3, the Xbox gathers dust...not because the ps3 is a better gaming console, but the ps3 has the blu ray player and is free for on-line gaming....whichever you choose, you will be happy with, I have never heard of anyone buying one and wishing they bought the other...also as mentioned, some games are console specific...which can make your choice easier of harder...important thing is to buy one and enjoy
