Title: Bumper Paint
Post by: Cliff_944 on 26 November 2012, 22:07
Had a little stone chip on the bumper.  Then all the lacquer peeled off about the diameter of a tennis ball.  It's in the dealers getting a paint job under warrantee.   They gave me a new Fiesta - make you really appreciate the golf!

I'll let you know.  The garage was saying that and bumper scratches need touch up paint on them straight away so the damp does not get under the paint.

All sorted - as good as new...  Looks lovely again.

I forgot how great the car is....  I accelerated a bit fast out of the garage after the fiesta - so hit I the brakes and nearly went through the screen.  Its nice to have pedals that do things!

P.S. the dealer said he been to Spain to drive a Mk7 GTi.  He said the styling is evolution not revolution.  You only notice the difference when they are side by side.  However, he said the drive was much improved!
